Elevate East

An invitation-only weekend in Tulsa meant to highlight the dynamic, vibrant and diverse community that is East Tulsa. Building on decades of immigrant entrepreneurship and inclusivity, The Square at Nam-Hai will showcase the cultures, ethnicities, music and art represented in East Tulsa. Hosted by the Tulsa Global District and proudly sponsored by George Kaiser Family Foundation, The Square at Nam-Hai will highlight the formidable work happening to preserve and highlight this colorful mosaic of communities thoughtfully and intentionally.

Thursday, March 3th

7:20pm — Attendees make their way to lobby of hotel.

7:30pm — Attendees depart the Ambassador Hotel via shuttle

8:00pm — Dinner @ Oren

9:30pm — Attendees return to the Ambassador Hotel via shuttle

Friday, March 4th

Attendees help themselves to in-room-dining or breakfast @ the Chalkboard (restaurant @ the Ambassador Hotel)

Attendees free to explore Tulsa until afternoon shuttle pickup

5:10pm — Attendees make their way to lobby of hotel.

5:20pm — Attendees depart the Ambassador Hotel via shuttle.

5:30pm

Guests arrive @ Greenwood Rising. Remarks by Trey Thaxton followed by a guided tour led by Phil Armstrong with Francisco Trevino, Cynthia Jasso and Brandon Oldham.

7:30pm — Attendees depart Greenwood Rising

7:45pm

Dinner & Drinks @ Lowood. Opening remarks by Cynthia Jasso and Brandon Oldham. Followed by remarks from Rodrigo Rojas and Kevin Wright. Featuring a conversation between Dj Klave / Steve Lozano and Jazi Hiriart.

10:00pm-11:00pm — Attendees depart the Lowood via shuttle (every 20 mins)

Saturday, March 5th

Attendees help themselves to in-room-dining or breakfast @ the Chalkboard (restaurant @ the Ambassador Hotel)

11:00am — Attendees make their way to lobby of hotel.

11:10am — Attendees depart the Ambassador Hotel via shuttle

11:30am

Tulsa Global District Event featuring a walking tour led by Mimi Martinez and joined by special guests Rodrigo Rojas & Sam Extance. Along the way, we'll have tastings at:

• La Neveria Tapatia

• Tortas y Jugos Caribe

1:30pm — Lunch at Pho Ni

2:15pm — Attendees can watch performers such as:

Dinner @ French Hen. Opening remarks by Sara Martinez sharing the History of the Latinx Community in Tulsa followed by a conversation with Luisa Krug, Onelia Macchia Anzola & Martha Zapata on Wealth Building & Entrepreneurship, with Cynthia Jasso & Brandon Oldham giving closing remarks

9:30pm — Attendees depart via shuttle
